2026 SSFA Art Contest Results — "Into the Future"
We received 79 submissions from students in Maryland and Virginia. Trophies and cash prizes were awarded; Bayside Cantina sponsored an additional Special Prize.
We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2026 SSFA "Into the Future" Art Contest! This year, we received 79 submissions from students in Maryland and Virginia. Only trophies and cash prizes were awarded; certificates were not distributed this year. We are grateful to Bayside Cantina for sponsoring an additional Special Prize.
An in-person ceremony was held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at:

Doors opened at 3:30 PM, the ceremony began at 4:00 PM. Artwork and prizes were picked up at the venue between 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM.
Thomas Nam (3rd Grade) — "Rescue from the Sky"
This artwork depicts a future where drones help during fires, saving people and animals and keeping everyone safe.

This year's contest featured many outstanding student artworks, full of creativity and unique visions of the future. The Grand Prize was awarded to Thomas Nam for his inspiring depiction of technology aiding in rescue operations. All selected works will be displayed on the SSFA website, and we congratulate all participants for their impressive contributions.
